  INADEV India Private Limited is looking for Manual Testing/ QA Engineer



Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with strong experience in manual testing, API validation, and database testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in writing test cases, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure product quality and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications-

3 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
Good understanding of API testing concepts and hands-on experience with Postman/Swagger.
Strong skills in SQL (joins, subqueries, data validation).
Exposure to databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities-

Design, document, and execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and backend systems.
Perform API testing (REST/ SOAP) using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation and database integrity testing.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Report, track, and verify bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality coverage.
Participate in test planning, test design reviews, and requirement analysis.
Ensure test deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Provide detailed defect reports with reproducible steps and assist developers in troubleshooting.
Support UAT and production validation when required.
