UI/ API Tester (Manual Testing)   




  HTC Global Services Inc. is looking for UI/ API Tester (Manual Testing)



Job Description

Candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in Manual Functional Testing. Exposure in designing developing and executing manual test cases for functional testing of applications. Experience in collaborating with developers and stakeholders for understanding system requirements and design test plans.

Proficiency in using SQL queries to extract test data from databases like GCP.
Familiarity in performing UI validation and API testing using Postman and verifying logs for errors that occurred.
Expertise in identifying documenting and tracking defects and inconsistencies in applications.
Should have experience in conducting Smoke UAT regression testing and end-to-end testing.
Proficiency in providing detailed reports on testing outcomes and suggesting improvements.

Ability to analyse complex requirement documents or SRS, coordinate with BAs for clarifications, and derive comprehensive test cases.
Experience with Auto and Home Insurance products is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
Basic knowledge of JIRA Xray and Confluence.

Proven experience as a Manual Tester with SQL testing.
Strong knowledge of testing techniques and STLC phases.
Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
Exposure to Automation is preferred.
