  Barclays Shared Services (BSS) is looking for Java Full-stack Developer



Job Description

Join us as a Java Full-stack developer at Barclays, where you`ll take part in the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You`ll harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. As a part of the team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You`ll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.

To be successful as a Java Full-stack Developer you should have experience with:

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Web Services.
Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and ORM tools.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of build tools such as Maven.
Some other highly valued skills include:

Experience with AWS cloud platform.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Exposure to CI/ CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
