  Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) is looking for Manual Testing Engineer



Job Description

As part of the Digital Gaming QA team, you ll be responsible for testing platform updates across iGaming products. You`ll work closely with developers, testers, and tech leads to ensure that every release meets high quality standards.

Candidate should have a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 to 7 years of experience in manual black-box testing. Must have strong understanding of Agile development cycles and delivery practices. Proven experience with client-server architecture, test strategy creation, and release management. Hands-on experience with cross-platform testing (mobile, tablet, desktop, OS, browser variations)

Familiarity with tools such as: TestRail, GitLab, Jira, Charles Proxy, Postman, Sauce Labs
Exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML5 able to identify bugs and understand the resolution process.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Self-organized, goal-driven, and able to work autonomously.
Experience in gaming or familiarity with slot mechanics.

Exposure to automation frameworks and BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
Understanding of Git/ GitHub/ GitLab/ Bitbucket workflows.
Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
Proactive mindset with the ability to influence, prioritize, and drive change.
Passionate about continuous improvement, learning, and development.

Key Responsibilities-

Design and execute test cases based on update requirements.
Automate test cases to support future iterations and improve testing efficiency.
Ensure full test coverage using advanced test techniques (e.g., state transitions, cause-effect graphing).
Conduct risk-based testing to ensure effective, efficient test cycles.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing detailed insights to the development team.

Mentor junior QA team members and share deep knowledge of the system under test (SUT).
Collaborate with global teams, including London-based studios, on planning, execution, and issue resolution.
Participate in release management activities and business calls as needed.
Proactively suggest improvements in tools, processes, and testing strategies.
Maintain documentation in tools like TestRail and Jira.

Deliver high-quality testing assets on time, independently.
Stay focused on defined scope and contribute to team success.
Take a methodical approach to planning and executing test efforts.
Stay current with QA trends and apply innovative practices in day-to-day tasks.
